Only Italian copy (known to us) anywhere online of any Italian Tuck Mechanical book. This copy was not branded Tuck but is exactly the same inside and out as Father Tuck's Mechanical Series " Friends In The Country" (see photos - last photo for English version comparison only)

Movables are in excellent working all original condition with no tears, no repairs, and no missing pieces. Binding is tight, pages are in excellent condition. We can find no faults.

Italian: These were not branded Tuck (see photos) - Published by Ditta Giovanni Gussoni Milano
Besides the one listed here on vintagepopbooks.com, no other copies of Italian Tuck movables can be located online or in Italian and international libraries. The publisher Giovanni Gussoni ceased operations in 1907; the movable picture books were probably one of his last publishing products (cf. Caccia, Editori a Milano, p. 165). Rosa Massara De Capitani (1869-1925) appears on the cover of the Italian copies - probably as a Milanese dialect poet and translator. She an was elementary teacher, poet and writer from Pavia.
