Complete set of all 3 large beautiful pop-up books in their original box.
Books are in Chinese but the set also comes with it's origianl printed brochure which translates each page into English!
Books are in Mint unused condition. Only one book was opened to photograph. Box has some wear but intact.

In 1967, the Salesian Catechetical Centre published
a 3-volume series "The Mysteries of the Rosary." The
Volume 1 : The Joyful Mysteries
Volume 2: The Sorrowful Mysteries
Volume 3: The Glorious Mysteries.
Each of the large pop-up books is 13 x 18 inches
Each has 14 pages and 6 pop-ups. Originally designed as teaching aids, the pop-ups and text are
printed parallel to the spine.
Very few complete sets are known to still exist. Several sets, including these, were discovered in storage in Hong Kong and were made available in the late 1990's to a few luck collectors through a monastery in the United States.
This series of books was produced to teach Roman Catholic doctrine. According to a collector in Arizona, these are the only pop-up books known with a nihil obstat. This designation means that there is nothing in the books that is against faith or morals.
