About this nativity:

While visiting the Montreal Expo in 1967 with an artists’ group, Kubašta saw a Bohemian nineteenth-century wooden crèche, The Bethlehem of Třebechovice, with 2000 individually carved figures and 300 movable parts. Inspired, he created this pop-up. Reference: Popuplady.com

Abridged wording from verso: The greeting card represents The Bethelem of Trebechovice, created by Josef Probost and two assistants. This unique woodcarving from the end of the 19th century is equipped with a mechanism of 152 cog wheels and is composed of 2033 figures. The nativity scene was displayed at the World Exposition of Montreal in 1967.
