"Each panoramic book “has an embossed chromo lithographed cover, a page of assembly instructions on the inside front wrapper, four pages of text, and a six-leaf accordion fold (comprised of five chromo lithographed leaves of figures to cut out and a leaf of green punch-out bases)”.-- Costen Children's library.

Each little book in this series consists of the cover, then 1 page of detailed assembly instructions, "How to Make Each Figure Stand Separately and Form Innumerable Tableaux."Next are 4 story text pages, then 5 chromolithographed panels of figures folded accordion style and opening to 15”.
