Very unusual Raphael Tuck Peepshow mechanism. The publication consists of a concertina-bound format with eight pages, which unfold to reveal a pull-forward 6-layer Peepshow-type perspective scene.

Condition – Very good. Peepshow with all of its 5 die-cut parts and back paste-down is in fine condition. All original, nothing torn or missing, The Paper hinges (bellows) that make the scene pull-out are also in original fine condition. Cover a bit grubby but still well bound with fine original cloth binding.
This book was advertised in RAPHAEL TUCK & SONS COMPANY'S catalog HOLIDAY SEASON 1897-1898.
