Delightful pop-up, movable, and fold out panorama all in one by Raphael Tuck. Pictures pull out to become three dimensional, cover has a movable gate that "opens", and entire book folds out and stands up to become a panorama. Each page has a pull up animal on it to make each scene three dimensional. Original 19th century hardback - not later softback edition.
Condition: Very Good. All original complete pop-ups with no evidence or need of repair. No tears or missing pieces. It does not appear to have ever been played with. We raised the first two "popups" to show but left the others flat as they do not appear to have ever been raised - Boards are clean and bright with slight edgewear. Original Binding still in good shape.
Collectors Corner:
The Raphael Tuck "pop-up" books with open the flap covers are quite interesting. They also are panorama “fold out” and “stand up” books that extend.
This particular series of Raphael Tuck books have little doors that open on the front cover and the images on each page are hinged and pull forward. Size 9 1/2 x 7 1/2 in.
