The moveable story of Mr. Tramontane and Mr. Giggins who travel to the moon in a fancy automobile

4 chromolithograph tab operated movable plates and 6 pages of text in sepia
(No Spanish publisher information - This Spanish version is still well bound and does not have any missing pages, note that it was published without a title page and with one less movable page that it's English and French counterparts. More images can be provided upon request.)


1914 ( No Date but English version was published in 1910 according to The Bookseller, Newsdealer and Stationer, Volume 32, 1910 page 232)

4to (11 x 8 1/4 inches; 280 x 210mm)

Condition : Very Good and complete. All movables are complete and in excellent all original working condition with no loss. There are a couple edge tears on one of the movable pages but no tear on it’s movable parts. The book is still bound but there is edge wear to binding. Neat dedication on first page from Grandma Bruner. See photos for condition.

When K&K sold the french version of this book in 2011 "Voyage extraordinaire", they stated "Not in the relevant children book bibliographies, not in Quérard and Monod. - No copy in KVK. No copy on the German and English auction market over the past 50 years. - Rare. - Presumably first edition"

Notes: While this Spanish book does not indicate a publisher, The French Version of this book was published by Meggendorfer’s French publisher, Capendu. [CAPENDU, A. of Paris.] Voyage Extraordinaire de Mr. Tramontane. A. Bourgade. We have also seen an English Version by the L.W. Walter Company titled " A Trip To The Moon" (By: J R Pepper; L.W. Walter Co.) this version not for sale here but is pictured below:
