The illustrations in this interactive Dean & Son book show amusing transformations of various circus acts as each corner is folded back in turn. These surprise books were also advertised as having “wonderful turn up corners which transforms one picture into 14 or more at will” Basically they are made using flaps which when opened by hand reveal the next scene in the story underneath the first.
Condition: All movables are in beautiful shape complete and working. They are all original without repairs or tears. The binding pages have been very simply restitched - see photos.
