Very Good. All four mechanical plates are complete, intact, and fully operational. A few pieces show light bends but no tears or missing parts. Covers are well-preserved with some wear consistent with age. No markings or inscriptions.
Collector's Corner:
This charming early aviation-themed movable book is one of the most elusive titles in the Pictorial Color Book Company series, issued here under the New York Book Company imprint. Though undated, it is generally attributed to circa 1919 based on content and design.
The four lively tab-activated scenes include children waving to a dirigible, a 1914-era automobile and monoplane, hydroplanes and a warship, and a nurse with children greeting a passing monoplane. Each plate reflects the post-WWI fascination with new forms of motorized travel and flight.
